Introduction

Master of Technology (MTech) is a 2-year post graduate programme in engineering, pursued after completing 4-year undergraduate engineering degree (BTech). Choosing MTech after BTech not only helps the students to get more streamlined in their academics but also helps them procure some of the most well-paying jobs with leading IT giants. Eligibility

  • Students with minimum 50-60% score (varies from college to college) in their respective specialisation in BTech can apply for MTech course.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the most popular MTech Entrance Exam conducted in India for entry into IITs, IIITs and NIITs. Seven IITs (Madras, Delhi, Kanpur, Bombay, Kharagpur, Guwahati and Roorkee) and the India Institute of Science (IISc) jointly conduct the GATE exam. Several institutions across the country, including both government and private, accept GATE score for admissions to MTech courses.
